ACU Member Updates Regarding Changes in Services During the Coronavirus Outbreak

MARCH 18, 2020

All ACU Branches Will Close Lobby Access March 19th

As the spread of the coronavirus continues, we must prioritize the safety of our members, employees, and the communities where we live above all else.

With the health and well-being of everyone top-of-mind, we have decided to close lobby services at all ACU offices at this time. We are not sure when the lobbies will reopen.

Effective Thursday, March 19th

All ACU branch lobbies will be closed. Drive-thru lanes will remain open during regular business hours. Any paperwork you wish to drop off or retrieve can be handled at the drive-thru; for service that by its nature cannot be done in this manner, such as safe deposit box access, please call the appropriate number below for an appointment.

  • Garland Drive-Thru Hours:
    • Mon - Th: 7:30am - 5:30pm
    • Friday: 6:30am - 6:00pm
    • Saturday: 9:00am - 1:00pm

  • Springfield Drive-Thru Hours:

Important Message For ACU Members

With concern about the coronavirus situation continuing to grow, we wanted to inform you of the precautions we are putting in place to help protect you and ACU staff. This well-being is our top priority and was the key factor in determining our procedures.

When you enter an ACU branch, we will always greet you with a smile, but for now, not a handshake.

We ask that everyone use hand sanitizer as they come in, which will be available, and to take other precautions such as coughing or sneezing into your elbow rather than your hands. ACU staff will also be using these procedures, as well as regularly disinfecting lobby counters and other surfaces that are used frequently.

If you are sick, it is advised that you stay home to avoid potential contact with others. An alternative to visiting a branch, whether you are sick or not, is to take advantage of ACU’s convenience services, including:

These services help you make deposits, withdrawals, schedule loan payments and a host of other account transactions, all from the comfort of home. Using an ATM is also a good option, with surcharge-free locations readily available.

Please use the links above to learn more about these services if you do not have them already. As always, if you need assistance or have questions about any of our services, call us at 972-494-5328 or 800-543-2811. In Springfield, call 417-881-0482. We will update you as necessary with any new information on this matter.

We wish you and yours safety and well-being.
